'Dyson Williams: Life, Loss, Lacrosse' is a documentary short following one of lacrosse's brightest young stars. We filmed this in late 2024 as Dyson was in the midst of preparing for his professional debut with the Albany FireWolves Lacrosse Club.
Dyson's story is one of perseverance and determination. Born to a lacrosse family and a National Lacrosse League Hall of Fame Dad, Dyson has been destined for stardom from an early age. When he was a young teen, he lost his brother Tucker to cancer. Everything he does in life, whether on the floor or off, has been dedicated to honoring the name of his brother and family.
"Lacrosse being the medicine game, having the stick in your hand really does help you get through some tough times and it allows you to escape."
- Dyson Williams
"Lacrosse is such a tight knit community. Once you're in it, you're in it. You're a lacrosse player, and you're lacrosse family. Something that my family is very grateful for."
- Dyson Williams
